Asos WANT-list

Asos has to be one of the trendiest websites today, with their huge range of clothing for women and men no matter their size! Asos is not limited to fashion though. They also sell knick knacks like phone cases and selfie sticks! I have yet to make an Asos purchase, mainly because they are quite expensive, but it's time that I start purchasing higher quality clothing, which requires me to spend a little more. These are just a few pieces and items that have caught my eye and that I have been wanting for a while now!

January 2016 LOOKBOOK

Since it's the beginning of a new year, I decided to get back to the start of it all! FASHION! This is the whole reason why I started making YouTube videos in the first place. I've just recently made some changes to my wardrobe and decided to share them in this lookbook. Hopefully these videos will help me gain some traction on my channel, and if so, I will definitely keep them coming!

My Christmas List 2015

I can't believe that it's almost Christmas time already. It seems like just yesterday when we brought in the new year (2015). I always look forward to the holidays, because I love being around my family and I love the music and decorations. I'm 23 now, and Christmas has shifted to being more for the children in the family, which is no problem at all, because I never ask for too much. This year, however, I have had my eye on a few things that I would love to have in my closet and on my body! Here are the items I have been lusting over!

For the month of November, I've decided to take things to a new level. I wanted to make things a little bit dressier and layered. Although the weather down here has not declined, I think these pieces are sure to keep you warm at night and breezy during the day. What I love about these outfits is that you can add or remove layers depending on the climate or the occasion.

The holidays are also coming up, and these outfits are great choices for parties and family gatherings. I would definitely be the star of the show while wearing one of these dressy numbers.

The websites I visited for this month’s outfit inspirations are Topshop, Forever 21, and Asos. I love these sites, because they don’t play it safe when it comes to fashion. I believe that is exactly what style is all about. You should feel confident in your clothing, because you live your life in it!

This past Thursday was my birthday, and this year I turned 23. I decided to bring my Jordan year in with style and elegance. I knew I wanted to go out to eat at Ichiban, a hibachi restaurant, with my friends, and since I was the birthday girl, I had to be dressed to kill! Earlier in the day I went to the mall and picked up a few things, including this burgundy shoulder bag, I just so happened to match my shoes, which were on my birthday wishlist. I wanted to wear these two pieces together without making them clash with one another, so I accompanied the purse and shoes with an all black outfit and simple gold jewelry.

Right now I'm in between paychecks, so that means I'm browsing the internet, window shopping for the things i can't buy! Rather than moping about these pieces, I have decided to draw inspiration from them. I've never done this on my blog before, but I would like to start this series not only to save my pockets, but also to make use of the clothing I already have by wearing them in different ways. In doing this, I hope to move that much closer to a minimalist lifestyle where I shop less, but make better shopping choices. Some of my favorite shops to browse are Forever 21, Topshop, Zara, Mango, and so many more! Being that I am a college student, my style is more on the comfortable chic side, and these outfits are perfect examples of what I would wear on a typical day. Some of the more dressier numbers are what I would wear to an event or a show on campus. I'm sure that I can put some of these outfits together with the clothing that I already own, and I look forward making the most of my wardrobe.
All of these photos are derived from Asos, Forever 21, and Mango shopping websites.

These shoes give me sooo much life!! I mean, look at them! When I saw these babies online, I added them to my shopping cart immediately, because i knew they would sell out within a matter of weeks. I wore these shoes out  to dinner, and I must say they are so comfortable and easy to walk in. As you can see, these are a statement, so I have to style these wisely or else I'll look like a walking candy store!
