Fenty Beauty

As many of you know, Rihanna launched her new beauty range on September 8th. Fenty Beauty has taken over the beauty community! I can't tell you how many reviews I've watched on YouTube. I think it's safe to say that everyone was super excited about this launch, especially with the astonishing 40 shades she released. 40 shades in her first launch?! That's unheard of! Rihanna expressed that her inpiration for this collection was that she has friends that are of many different shades and tones, and it's hurtful to not be included, because every girl deserves to feel beautiful. I couldn't have said it better myself!

Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation- 410
Match Stix Matte Skinstick- Latte
Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter- Trophy Wife
Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer- Fenty Glow

I decided to go with the shade 410 in foundation, because Jackie Aina mixed shades 410 and 420 together to get her perfect shade. I definitely don't have the money to buy two shades of this foundation, and 410 was the only shade Sephora in Mall of Georgia had left, so 410 it was!

I found this product to be extremely flawless and matte, which I love, because I somehow end up looking like a grease ball at the end of the day when I use dewy foundations. This foundation also dries very quickly, so you have to work fast when blending. I recommend using a beauty sponge when blending this foundation in, so you maximize the coverage. You'll also want to pick a shade that appears a shade lighter than your skintone, because it oxidizes.

I decided to only pick up one of the Match Stix for hightlighting. I prefer to contour with powder and I  bought the Killawatt highlighter, so there was no need for me to purchase the Match Stix Trio. The formula of the Match Stix is very unique to me. It's creamy but matte at the same time. If  you have dry skin, you may not like this product, because it's on the drier side. Paired with the Pro Filt'r foundation, this product makes your skin look flawless, but not weighed down.

The Killawatt highlighter has to be the crowd favorite. It literally looks like crushed gold! This highlighter is very glittery, which is definitely out of my comfort zone. I wouldn't say that this is an everyday highlighter, but put this on for a night out, and you'll be glowing in the dark!

Lastly, the Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer is just your basic lipgloss. What's special about this product is definitely the packaging. The bottle that the gloss comes in has a lot more girth than most lip gloss bottles, so you're essentially getting more product. The doe foot applicator is also quite large, making it easier to apply the gloss with one swipe.

Overall, I really love this collection. The products work beautifully together, giving any woman a flawless finish. These products are also buildable, so you have the option to rock a sheer,  natural  look, or a dramatic, yet comfortable beat. If you haven't tried any of these products and you're on the fence about purchasing them, I say they're worth the purchase. Rihanna put a lot of time and effort into this line, and I have to say that I feel red carpet ready when wearing the range!
