Satin Cowgirl

I feel like I'm constantly trying to find my style and what looks good on  me. I realized that I’ve focused more on trends and not classic pieces. What makes a piece of clothing classic you ask? It’s one of a kindness. When finding your personal style I now realize that I should just be me! I’m a girly girl at heart, but I also consider myself a comfort queen. This outfit is a perfect example of how I pair these two aspects of myself and look chic at the same time.

I have wanted to own a jacket with a fringe for ages now!! This jacket from Missguided is gorgeous, and I’m so obsessed with it. I dress it up and dress it down, I wear it EVERYWHERE!!

When I first purchased this satin wrap dress, I wasn’t sure where I was going to wear it, because it’s very short and quite revealing. This is where the comfort queen comes into play. I paired this satin dress with a basic crop top with a lot of stretch, which is super comfortable!

Below I’ve linked my outfit and pieces similar to what I’m wearing. Happy shopping!

My Christmas Wishlist | 2017

As we get older, our Christmas lists seem to get shorter and shorter, and we appreciate things that don't light up or have super long hair we can cut, comb, and dye. Adulting definitey has its perks, and when Christmas comes around I look forward to making others smile. However, I too have a few items on my Christmas list that I wouldn't mind finding under the Christmas tree! These items are also some great ideas for gifts you can give to that special someone in your life whether she is your sister, daughter, wife or girlfriend.

Fenty Beauty

As many of you know, Rihanna launched her new beauty range on September 8th. Fenty Beauty has taken over the beauty community! I can't tell you how many reviews I've watched on YouTube. I think it's safe to say that everyone was super excited about this launch, especially with the astonishing 40 shades she released. 40 shades in her first launch?! That's unheard of! Rihanna expressed that her inpiration for this collection was that she has friends that are of many different shades and tones, and it's hurtful to not be included, because every girl deserves to feel beautiful. I couldn't have said it better myself!

Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation- 410
Match Stix Matte Skinstick- Latte
Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter- Trophy Wife
Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer- Fenty Glow

I decided to go with the shade 410 in foundation, because Jackie Aina mixed shades 410 and 420 together to get her perfect shade. I definitely don't have the money to buy two shades of this foundation, and 410 was the only shade Sephora in Mall of Georgia had left, so 410 it was!

I found this product to be extremely flawless and matte, which I love, because I somehow end up looking like a grease ball at the end of the day when I use dewy foundations. This foundation also dries very quickly, so you have to work fast when blending. I recommend using a beauty sponge when blending this foundation in, so you maximize the coverage. You'll also want to pick a shade that appears a shade lighter than your skintone, because it oxidizes.

I decided to only pick up one of the Match Stix for hightlighting. I prefer to contour with powder and I  bought the Killawatt highlighter, so there was no need for me to purchase the Match Stix Trio. The formula of the Match Stix is very unique to me. It's creamy but matte at the same time. If  you have dry skin, you may not like this product, because it's on the drier side. Paired with the Pro Filt'r foundation, this product makes your skin look flawless, but not weighed down.

The Killawatt highlighter has to be the crowd favorite. It literally looks like crushed gold! This highlighter is very glittery, which is definitely out of my comfort zone. I wouldn't say that this is an everyday highlighter, but put this on for a night out, and you'll be glowing in the dark!

Lastly, the Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer is just your basic lipgloss. What's special about this product is definitely the packaging. The bottle that the gloss comes in has a lot more girth than most lip gloss bottles, so you're essentially getting more product. The doe foot applicator is also quite large, making it easier to apply the gloss with one swipe.

Overall, I really love this collection. The products work beautifully together, giving any woman a flawless finish. These products are also buildable, so you have the option to rock a sheer,  natural  look, or a dramatic, yet comfortable beat. If you haven't tried any of these products and you're on the fence about purchasing them, I say they're worth the purchase. Rihanna put a lot of time and effort into this line, and I have to say that I feel red carpet ready when wearing the range!

Be sure to watch my video and see these products in action.

I Want To Be An Actor!

Ever since I was a little girl, any time I watch a movie or television series, I replace a character or two with myself. I could always picture myself on that screen, telling different stories. I never believed in   myself enough to chase it as a child, because I never felt that I could truly relate to the girls I saw on my TV screen.

I decided to create different dreams; more "realistic" dreams. I have always enjoyed  writting (my inner artist trying to shine through) and meeting new people, so I decided Public Relations is  the route for me! I fell in love with my major more and more as the years went by, but I felt that I needed  a place where I could express myself freely. Hence, my Youtube Channel and Blog are born!

Creating these platforms and watching them grow are my favorite  joys. Being  able to influnce others in a fun, creative and positive way has always been my bottom line with everything I do. I  feel inspired everyday, because I know there are people watching what I do for inspiration. Again, I get that feeling of wanting to do more.

I became uninspired by what I was seeing around me. But, on January 21st, 2017 I went to go see the movie Moonlightand my life changed. This film came out at the perfect time, was written perfectly, and left a mark on me. Slowly, but surely I was beginning to learn  that it was okay to have big dreams that most people don't chase. I was going to be that outlier.

I've purchased several books to begin my studies. As I turn each page I fall more and more in love with the art. I know this is what I am supposed to be doing. I am going to create and inspire. I'm so happy to be bringing you on this journey with me. Let's see where it takes us!

Canary Velvet

Jacket: H&M
Dress: Zara
Shoes: Converse
Choker: Forever 21

When I found this dress on sale on Zara's website, I added it to my cart as fast as I could! This dress was so affordable, that I decided to purchase another one! (In a different style of course) I only paid $7.99 for this dress, yes you read that correctly, $7.99! If you've ever shopped in a Zara store or online, you know that they can be quite expensive, but they sell pieces that you can wear for years.

I love the way this dress fits, because it's not too tight and it's not too oversized. I also love the brightness of this dress! It's an absolute closet staple. This piece is also very versatile, in that you can dress it up or down. Here you can see that I've gone for the more casual look with my converse sneakers, but if I wanted to dress this up a bit, I'd throw on some heels, add a silver necklace, and ditch the jacket (it's springtime).

What springtime trends are you rocking this year?
